Fujairah-Khorfakkan Road speed limit drops to 100km/h from 13 October
Fujairah Police say the limit on the road between Fujairah and Khorfakkan falls from 120km/h to 100km/h from Tuesday.
The speed limit on the Fujairah-Khorfakkan Road will be cut from 120km/h to 100km/h from Tuesday 13 October 2026, Fujairah Police General Headquarters has announced, in coordination with the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure.
Police asked all drivers to keep to the new limit and to follow the road signs and instructions along the route. Updated signs will show the new limit.
If you drive to the east coast from Dubai for a weekend in Fujairah or Khorfakkan, plan for the lower limit on this stretch from Tuesday and watch for the new signs, as radar settings follow the posted limit. Police have not published new fine amounts for this road; speeding fines follow the federal traffic rules.
