What The Food returns to Alserkal Avenue on 31 October, free to enter
The fifth edition of Alserkal Avenue's food festival runs on 31 October and 1 November in Al Quoz, with the theme Khubz wa Milh, bread and salt.

What The Food, the food festival at Alserkal Avenue in Al Quoz, returns for its fifth edition on Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November. Entry is free.
This year's theme is Khubz wa Milh, Arabic for bread and salt. The programme is set to include talks, workshops, masterclasses, tastings, art installations and film screenings. Aline Kamakian, founder of the Armenian restaurant Mayrig, gives the opening keynote, and Nazek Al Sabbagh of Malleh Gourmet will talk about maleh, the Emirati salted fish.
Before the festival, a new series of weekend sessions called Off The Menu runs at Alserkal Avenue. Times, the full schedule and booking details for workshops have not been published yet; Alserkal Avenue will share them on its own channels.
