From Monday 26 October, 1,455 parking spaces in three Al Ain sectors, including Al Mutarad and the city centre, will cost Dh2 an hour, payable on the Darb and TAMM apps.
Paid parking comes to three more sectors of Al Ain on Monday 26 October, Q Mobility announced, Gulf News reported. The sectors include Al Mutarad and the city centre, and together they have 1,455 spaces, some of them set aside for People of Determination.
Standard spaces in the scheme will cost Dh2 an hour. Q Mobility runs the scheme under the supervision of the Integrated Transport Centre, Abu Dhabi Mobility, which is part of the Department of Municipalities and Transport.
If you park in these parts of Al Ain, pay through the Darb or TAMM app from Monday. The announcement as reported does not give the daily hours or free times for the new sectors, so check the signs at each space before you leave the car.
