Boris Grebenshchikov, the founder of the Russian band Aquarium, will give his first concert in Dubai on Thursday 29 October at The Agenda. The organiser, IndependentArt, says it is the first time he has performed in the city.
He plays with BG+, which the ticket page describes as a modern version of the band rather than a classic Aquarium show. The line-up includes Brian Finnegan on flute, Leo Abrahams on guitar, Andrey Surotdinov on violin and Alexander Titov on bass. The set mixes his best-known songs with new ones from his 2026 album, Strange News from a Distant Star.
Doors open at 7pm and the concert starts at 8pm. Tickets are on Platinumlist from Dh350. The Agenda is a short walk from Dubai Internet City Metro station on the Red Line.
