Casio shows its first Arabic-dial watch collection in Dubai
The Casio MTP-E735AR has Eastern Arabic numerals and a day display in Arabic or English, in five colours. UAE price and store dates have not been announced.
Casio has introduced its first Arabic-dial collection made for the Middle East and Africa, the MTP-E735AR. It was shown at a media preview in Dubai on 17 September, tbreak reports.
The watch is an analogue quartz model with Eastern Arabic numerals on a dial with an arabesque pattern, and a day and date window at 3 o'clock that can show the day in Arabic or English. It comes in five dial colours: black, deep blue, ice blue, turquoise and white.
The case and integrated bracelet are stainless steel with mineral glass. It measures 44.5 by 37.5 by 8.4mm, weighs 89g and is water resistant to 50 metres. Casio rates the battery for about three years.
Casio has not published a UAE price or a date for stores. For now the model is listed in Casio's international catalogue.
