Dubai Safari Park 2026-27: tickets, opening hours and safari rides
Dubai Safari Park is open daily from 9am to 6pm for Season 8, with last entry at 5pm. The Safari Park Pass costs AED 50 online and the Safari Bundle, which adds the 35-minute Explorer Safari Tour, costs AED 117.
Dubai Safari Park opened Season 8 on 12 October 2026 and is open every day from 9:00am to 6:00pm, with last entry at 5:00pm. A Safari Park Pass costs AED 50 per person when bought online and covers all six zones, the 15-minute Arabian Desert Safari and the free live presentations. The Safari Bundle, at AED 117, adds the 35-minute Explorer Safari Tour past the lions, tigers, rhinos and hippos, plus unlimited rides on the park train. Children under 3 and People of Determination go in free.
Opening hours
The park says it is open daily during the season from 9:00am to 6:00pm, and the last visitors are let in at 5:00pm. It normally closes during the peak summer months. The park suggests allowing four to five hours and arriving at opening time, because the animals are most active in the morning. Presentation and encounter times can change on the day, so check the board at the entrance when you arrive.
Tickets and prices
The Safari Park Pass (AED 50 online) includes entry to the six zones, the Arabian Desert Safari, the daily live presentations, kids' workshops and wildlife talks, one free animal encounter, free parking and two AED 10 vouchers, one for the souvenir shop and one for a photo. The Safari Bundle (AED 117, or AED 67 on top of the pass) adds the Explorer Safari Tour and unlimited shuttle train rides between the zones. The park's pages do not publish a separate price for children over 3. You can book in five steps on the park's website: choose a ticket, pick a date and time, choose how many, add extras such as animal feedings, then pay and receive the e-ticket by email. Add-ons can also be bought at the ticket counter on arrival, subject to availability.
On a visitor's own country's national day, the Safari Park Pass is half price on that official day only: show a passport or other official ID at the ticket counter.
The two safari rides
The Arabian Desert Safari is included with every ticket. It lasts 15 minutes, runs daily from 9:00am to 5:30pm in an electric vehicle and leaves from the Arabian Desert zone, crossing dunes where you may see Arabian oryx, sand gazelles, Arabian wolves and camels.
The Explorer Safari Tour comes with the Safari Bundle. It lasts 35 minutes on a safari bus, runs from 9:00am to 5:00pm and leaves from Explorer Village, through open-range areas with lions, tigers, white rhinos, hippos and giraffes. Each ticket covers one ride on each journey, and the park advises booking ahead because places are limited, especially at weekends. Rides run subject to weather and animal welfare rules.
Animal encounters
Feedings are optional extras added at checkout or at the counter. Giraffe feeding at Explorer Village costs AED 20 (11:00am, 1:00pm, 3:00pm and 5:00pm) and lemur feeding on Lemur Island costs AED 75 (12:00pm and 4:00pm). Goat feeding, tortoise feeding, pony grooming, macaw feeding, cormorant feeding and the reptile encounter are AED 20 each. The pony walk in Al Wadi, bird feeding at the Kids Farm and duck feeding are free. Rhino and elephant feeding are only offered on the Behind the Scenes package.
Private packages
All are priced per group, on top of the park visit. King of Safari is a four-hour private chauffeured tour for up to 10 guests at AED 2,500. Behind the Scenes is a 90-minute private tour with five backstage experiences for up to 10 guests at AED 1,450. Dine in the Wild is a two-hour breakfast (7:00am) or dinner (6:00pm) beside the lions or giraffes for up to 6 guests at AED 2,150. Jungle Capture is a three-hour early photography tour from 7:30am for up to 3 guests at AED 1,275.

The park is in Al Warqa 5, on the E44 Hatta Road opposite Dragon Mart. Parking is free in car parks P1 to P3, with EV charging at P1.
