The Freelander 8 is a large three-row SUV with six seats in the version shown. Middle East cars use a 2.0-litre turbo hybrid engine with two electric motors, all-wheel drive and a 34.12 kWh battery, for up to 460 kW. Al Tayer Motors will sell the car in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, and Premier Motors in Abu Dhabi. UAE prices, trims and the on-sale date have not been announced; buyers can register interest with the dealers now.
