Melanie C and Jax Jones to play the Emirates Dubai 7s in November
The former Spice Girl and the British DJ are the first names on the Beats on 2 stage at The Sevens Stadium, which hosts the rugby festival from 27 to 29 November.
Melanie C and Jax Jones are the first music acts announced for this year's Emirates Dubai 7s, which runs from Friday 27 to Sunday 29 November at The Sevens Stadium on the Al Ain road.
Melanie C, known to millions as Sporty Spice, plays the Beats on 2 stage on Saturday 28 November with a set of dance, house and club classics. Jax Jones, the DJ and producer behind "You Don't Know Me" and "Instruction", closes the festival on Sunday 29 November.
Beyond the rugby, this year adds Gaelic football as a new competitive division and a new Kids' Zone on Family Friday, and netball, cricket 7s and Rebound Padel return. Music starts from 7.30pm each night.
Tickets are on sale on emiratesdubai7s.com, with Friday general admission at Dh75 and a three-day pass at Dh595, and the organisers offer 25% off a limited number of group tickets. The music sets are included in the ground ticket for that day, so pick Saturday for Melanie C and Sunday for Jax Jones.
