The Phantom of the Opera is coming to Abu Dhabi for the first time, with 13 performances at Etihad Arena on Yas Island from 10 to 28 March 2027. The run comes 40 years after the musical opened in London's West End on 9 October 1986. Cast details have not been announced.

Tickets are sold through Platinumlist, the arena's ticketing partner. Standard seats start at Dh240 from Sunday to Thursday and Dh290 on Fridays and Saturdays, according to the published prices, with the top Royal category at Dh740 on weekdays and Dh790 at weekends. Tickets cannot be refunded, transferred or exchanged, and the venue takes contactless payment only.

Children aged five and under are not admitted, everyone from six up needs a ticket, and under-16s must come with an adult aged 21 or over. From Dubai the drive is about 113 km, roughly 70 minutes in clear traffic with Salik tolls on the Dubai side; the arena advises leaving at least two hours before the show. Intercity buses run from Al Ghubaiba and Ibn Battuta to Abu Dhabi for about Dh30, but check the time of the last bus back before you book an evening show.
