Sole DXB, the music, fashion, art and sport festival that began as a sneaker meet-up, returns for its 14th edition from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 December. This year it moves to a new home, The Square at Nad Al Sheba.
The first names on the bill include Lola Young, Overmono, Nia Archives, Matthew Herbert, Hajaj, Fatoumata Diawara, Peter Cat Recording Co., Maii and Zeid and Gia Fu, with more to follow. Across three days and two stages there will also be installations, product drops, a talks programme, food zones and basketball tournaments.
The first release of three-day passes is on sale on Platinumlist: general admission Dh495, VIP Grandstand Dh775 (21 and over), Golden Circle Dh825 for all ages or Dh875 for 21 and over. Prices rise in later releases, and single-day passes will come out later. On general admission, children aged 10 and under go free and those aged 14 and under must be with an adult. The site opens from 4pm, parking is limited, and the organisers suggest a taxi, carpooling or public transport. Bring photo ID and the card used to buy the tickets.
