Yuja Wang, one of the most celebrated concert pianists working today, gives a solo recital at Dubai Opera on Friday 29 January 2027 at 8pm. Her recent highlights include playing all four Rachmaninoff piano concertos and the Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini in a single evening at Carnegie Hall.
This tour comes with an unusual rule: no programme is announced in advance. The audience finds out what she will play only when she sits down at the piano. "I want the audience to come without expectations," she says in the organisers' notes.
The recital is presented by G42 and organised by M Premiere, with support from Steinway & Sons and House of Pianos.
Tickets are on sale on Platinumlist from Dh300, up to Dh2,000 for the best seats. The concert is for ages 6 and over. Dubai Opera is in Downtown Dubai, a short walk from Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall Metro station.
