Bolshoi Ballet brings The Nutcracker to Dubai Opera, 4 to 6 December
The Nutcracker closes the Bolshoi Theatre's first official UAE tour, five days at Dubai Opera from 2 to 6 December presented with Art Seasons.
Moscow's Bolshoi Theatre is making its first official tour of the UAE this December, with five days at Dubai Opera from 2 to 6 December 2026, presented by Dubai Opera with Art Seasons as part of the venue's tenth anniversary season.
The tour ends with Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker from 4 to 6 December, in Yuri Grigorovich's choreography, danced by Bolshoi Ballet principals with the Bolshoi Theatre Orchestra conducted by Pavel Klinichev. Casting can change from one performance to the next.
Before the ballet, the tour opens on 2 December at 7pm with Rimsky-Korsakov's opera The Tsar's Bride, followed on 3 December at 8pm by a symphonic concert from the Bolshoi Theatre Orchestra.
Each production is booked separately through Dubai Opera. Seats for the opera and the concert start from AED 350; the ballet's starting price differs between Dubai Opera's listings, so check it when you book, and note that the venue's tickets are not refundable. Ballet times vary by date, with afternoon and evening shows.
