British Airways flies London to Dubai again, with a second daily flight from 29 NovemberDubai International Airport

British Airways is flying between London and Dubai again. Flight BA105 left Heathrow on Tuesday evening, 3 November, and landed at Dubai International at 7.40am on Wednesday, the airline's first service to the city since it suspended its UAE flights at the end of February, What's On and Gulf News reported.

For now there is one flight a day in each direction. BA105 leaves Heathrow at 8.40pm and arrives in Dubai at 7.40am the next morning; the return, BA104, leaves Dubai at 10am and lands at Heathrow at 2.10pm UK time. A second daily rotation, BA107 out of London and BA106 back, is planned from 29 and 30 November, reports say, which would take the route back to twice a day. The flights are operated with Boeing 787-10 aircraft, according to aviation reports.

The airline had moved the restart more than once, first planning 25 October before settling on 3 November. Its Abu Dhabi flights are not part of this return: British Airways has said they will not resume before the winter 2027-28 season, so travellers from the capital will keep using other airlines or the Dubai flights. Lufthansa returned to Dubai on 25 October, so two of Europe's biggest airlines are now back on the route in the same fortnight.

London is one of the busiest routes from Dubai, and the return gives residents another choice beside Emirates and Virgin Atlantic for trips to the UK over the winter holidays. What's On reports return fares from about Dh2,500, though prices change with the date. Book through britishairways.com or a travel agent, and check the timetable for your date before you plan a connection, since the second daily flight only starts at the end of the month. Remember that the UK is four hours behind the UAE in November: the 10am departure from Dubai lands at Heathrow early in the afternoon, London time.
