Trèsind Studio, the 20-seat modern Indian restaurant on Palm Jumeirah, is ranked No. 28 on The 50 Best Restaurants 2026. The list was revealed at a ceremony in Lima, Peru, on 4 November, the first time the awards have been held in South America. The restaurant also took the title of The Best Restaurant in the Middle East 2026, and it is the only restaurant in the UAE inside this year's top 50.

At the top of the list, Asador Etxebarri in the Basque Country was ranked No. 1, followed by Gaggan in Bangkok and Alchemist in Copenhagen. Hong Kong had two places in the top six, with Wing and The Chairman.

Dubai has one more name on the wider ranking. The places from 51 to 100 were released on 21 October, and FZN in Dubai is No. 88 there. Khufu's, at the Giza pyramids, is No. 97, so the region has three restaurants across the full 100.

Trèsind Studio is led by chef Himanshu Saini, who trained at Indian Accent in New Delhi before moving to Dubai, with Love Gupta as pastry chef. The first Trèsind opened in 2014 and the Studio followed in 2018. It serves one tasting menu, called Rising India, that moves through the subcontinent region by region, from the Deccan Plateau and the northern plains to the Himalayas. The room is built around theatre: maps and objects change with the courses, and the lights sometimes go down for a dish or two. Guests choose between two drinks pairings, one of them alcohol free. The restaurant has been on the list before, including in 2023.

Being named best in the Middle East usually brings a rush of visitors from abroad, and the dining room has only 20 seats. The restaurant is at St. Regis Gardens, Entrance B, on Palm Jumeirah, and bookings are taken through its own website. Prices for the tasting menu were not given with the ranking, so check them when you book, and plan well ahead if you want a table in the coming weeks.
