Dior brings back 13 classic fragrances as the Dioriginals collection
Dior has reissued 13 fragrances from its archive, reworked by perfumer Francis Kurkdjian. A UAE price and on-sale date could not be confirmed.
Dior has reissued 13 fragrances from its archive under the name Dioriginals. The formulas were reworked by Francis Kurkdjian, the house's perfume creation director, to bring them back to what was originally intended after years of changes in ingredients and rules, GQ Middle East reported.
The collection is split in two. "Dior in Grasse" covers the early classics: Diorama (1949), Eau Fraîche (1955), Diorissimo (1956), Diorling and Diorella. "Dior in Paris" covers 1979 to 2003: Dioressence, Dune, Dolce Vita, Dune Homme, Higher, Forever and Ever, Higher Energy and Jules.
Each one comes in an updated version of the oval Dior bottle first designed in 1948, with a grooved metal ring engraved with the CD monogram.
The collection is listed on Dior's websites in several countries, at prices that differ by market. We could not confirm a UAE price or when it reaches Dior counters here, so check with Dior boutiques before making a trip.
