Dubai Design Week returns to d3 from 3 to 8 November
The 12th edition brings Downtown Design, the Abwab exhibition, an Urban Commissions winner and a weekend Marketplace to Dubai Design District.

Dubai Design Week returns to Dubai Design District (d3) for its 12th edition from 3 to 8 November. Its programme mixes exhibitions, installations, talks, workshops and a Marketplace.
Downtown Design, the fair for contemporary design brands, runs from 4 to 8 November inside the week. Abwab, the group exhibition, takes the title "In Other Words" this year and looks at how language is communicated, interpreted and remembered. The winner of the Urban Commissions competition, "Three Gardens and a Room", will be built on site, and the UAE Designer Exhibition returns.
The weekend Marketplace on 7 and 8 November sells homeware, jewellery, fashion and handmade pieces, with food stalls, children's activities and live performances. Tickets are sold through the Dubai Design Week website, which does not yet state prices; d3 is a short taxi ride from Business Bay, and the full schedule is due on the same site before the week opens.
