Zabeel Park, Gate No. 3, Area A, Dubai

Dubai Garden Glow is open every day from 4pm to 9pm, and one Entry Ticket at AED 73.5 covers both of its parks, the Dinosaur Park and the Fantasy Park. Children up to 3 years old go in free. It now sits next to the Dubai Frame, at Gate 3 of Zabeel Park, and the operator says two hours is enough to see everything.

Opening hours

The park's own site gives the same hours for every day of the week: Sunday to Saturday, 4pm to 9pm. It does not publish a last entry time, so arriving by 7pm leaves the two hours the operator suggests for the full visit. The site does not give the season's opening or closing dates either; it lists the hours with no end date.

Ticket prices

There is one ticket on the official site, the Entry Ticket, at AED 73.5. It gives access to both parks: Dinosaur Park, with life-size animatronic dinosaurs, and Fantasy Park, with large, colourful structures set among the trees that are built for photos.

Children up to 3 years old are free. From that age up, the official answer is that every visitor pays the normal price; no separate child or family price is published. Holders of a People of Determination card go in free with one companion, according to the terms on the official site.

Tickets are valid for a single entry and cannot be refunded in any circumstances, so pick your date before you pay. The site also shows a "super deal" banner but gives no details of the offer.

How to book

Book on the official site, dubaigardenglow.com, with the Book Now button, which opens the ticket page for the Entry Ticket. For questions, the site offers a live chat; it does not publish a phone number.

Getting there

The address is Zabeel Park, Gate 3, Area A, Dubai, beside the Dubai Frame, so the two make an easy evening together. By metro, the operator names Max station on the Red Line as the nearest. By bus, the nearest stop it gives is Al Jafalia bus station. Parking is not mentioned on the official site, so if you drive, look for the signs at Zabeel Park's gates.

What you cannot bring

The rules on the official site are short and strict:

No pets or other animals, for safety and hygiene reasons. 2. No outside food or drinks. 3. No balls, scooters, bicycles or hoverboards. 4. No smoking, and visitors must keep to the non-smoking zones.

Taking pictures for yourself is the point of the visit, but professional shoots (engagements, weddings, modelling, adverts and similar) need approval from the management office first.

Planning your evening

The glowing structures and the animatronic figures are made to be seen in the dark, so the later part of the evening is when the park looks its best. Families with small children can arrive at the 4pm opening for the dinosaurs in daylight and stay on as the lights come up. Allow about two hours for both parks, as the operator suggests, and remember that no food may be brought in.

Common questions

Is there a child price? No. Under 3 is free and everyone older pays AED 73.5.

Can I come back later the same day? The ticket is valid for one entry only.

Is it open on Friday? Yes, every day from 4pm to 9pm. Prices and hours can change, so check the official site before you go.
