Dubai Municipality runs hands-on kids' activities at Mirdif City Centre until 11 October
A Dubai Municipality community event at Mirdif City Centre gives children planting sessions, simple lab experiments, safety lessons and digital games. It runs daily from 10am to 10pm until Sunday 11 October.
Dubai Municipality has set up a children's activity area at Mirdif City Centre as part of a new community initiative to build children's skills and show them how the city's services work. It opened on 7 October and runs until 11 October 2026, from 10am to 10pm each day.
Children can try planting, with sessions on local plants, soil, seedlings and watering, and learn about safety at home, on the road, at the beach and in parks. There is a small laboratory corner with simple experiments, and a content corner where they can practise speaking and presenting.
Two digital games cover pet care and public health, and waste and keeping the city clean. The municipality says the activities are designed for families to do together.
The report does not mention an entry fee, an age range or any need to register in advance.
