FIX, the makers of Dubai chocolate, win a Dubai-it Award

FIX Dessert Chocolatier, the home business behind the pistachio and knafeh bar known worldwide as Dubai chocolate, has won the Dubai-it Award for business projects.

FIX Dessert Chocolatier has won the Dubai-it Award in the category for projects in the field of business, announced by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, on 24 October. The award recognises people, projects and companies whose results reflect the city's "Dubai-it" way of working.

FIX was founded in 2021 by Sarah Hamouda and Yezen Alani and began as a home business in Dubai. Its bar of chocolate filled with pistachio cream and crunchy knafeh went viral and gave its name to a whole category of sweets sold around the world as "Dubai chocolate".

According to the award announcement, the company reached more than two million customers and sold more than 6.5 million pieces of chocolate within 15 months, and its bars are now sold in more than 100 airports.
