Lexus RZ 500e electric SUV goes on sale in the UAE at Dh255,000

Al-Futtaim Lexus has launched the electric RZ 500e in the UAE. It comes in one grade, Platinum with all-wheel drive, priced at Dh255,000, tbreak reports.

Lexus quotes 375hp, 0 to 100km/h in 4.6 seconds, a 74.6kWh battery and a range of up to 460km. Fast charging from 10 to 80 per cent takes about 30 minutes, according to the maker. These are Lexus's own figures, and no range figure for UAE summer conditions has been given.

For the region the car gets retuned air conditioning, infrared-cutting glass, ventilated seats and water cooling for the electric drive system. Inside there is a 14-inch screen, Mark Levinson audio and the Lexus Safety System+ 3 driver aids. Ten exterior colours are offered.

A mobile charger comes with the car. A home wallbox can be arranged through Al-Futtaim's Charge2MOOV network, and buyers should check whether installation is included in the price.
