Marsa Boulevard, the seasonal waterfront strip on Dubai Creek, opens for its third season on Friday 30 October. The promenade at Al Kheeran, Marsa Al Khor, near Dubai Festival City Mall, has become one of the city's busiest winter hangouts since it first opened in early 2025, and this year it comes back larger, with more of the Creek frontage in use.
Entry is free. This season's theme is "My heart is happiest with you", and the organisers describe it as a place built for spending time together: groups of friends, families and couples rather than a single restaurant booking.
Food is the main draw. New names this season include NAC, a French bistro, CRST, a New York-style pizza place, the coffee spot For a While, Marmellata, Slrp, Badu and Nuwa. Lune, Home Bakery, Trio and Sadeem, which were popular last winter, return. The Botanical Garden has been redesigned with open-fire cooking and speciality coffee in the planted part of the site.
There is more to do than eat. Matcha Club Creek adds Pilates sessions and a yoga studio next to its padel courts. Studio 152 returns with exhibitions, fashion showcases and cultural events, and the fashion house Loewe has a seasonal pop-up. Art installations and commissioned works by artists from the UAE, the region and abroad are set along the water rather than in a gallery, built around themes of wind, water, trade, migration and the city's own change. Seasonal programmes are planned around Eid Al Etihad, New Year's Eve and Ramadan.
The boulevard is a project of Al-Futtaim, which also runs Dubai Festival City next door. Its second season opened on the same date last year and ran through the cooler months.
If you are going, Time Out Dubai lists the hours as 4pm to midnight from Monday to Friday and 4pm to 1am on Saturday and Sunday. Entry is free and you pay only for what you eat and buy. It is on the Festival City side of the Creek, so the easiest way in is by car or taxi to Dubai Festival City; no closing date for the season has been announced.
