Nakheel Palm Run is on 14 November: 3km, 5km and 10km on the Palm
The fourth Nakheel Palm Run starts on the Palm Jumeirah Boardwalk at 6.30am on Saturday 14 November, with a 3km fun run from age three; registration closes the day before.
The Nakheel Palm Run returns to Palm Jumeirah on Saturday 14 November for its fourth edition, falling in the middle of this year's Dubai Fitness Challenge. It is organised by Raceme, part of The1 group, with the developer Nakheel, and is one of the few races in the city run along the sea on the Palm Jumeirah Boardwalk.
There are three distances. The 10km starts at 6.30am and the 5km at 7.30am, both open to runners aged 13 and over. The 3km at 8am is a fun run with no podium, open to children from the age of three, which makes it a race a whole family can enter. The race village and collection open at 5.30am, prize giving starts at 8.30am and the event closes at 11am.
Every entry comes with a race bag, a bib, a finisher medal and T-shirt, water, electronic timing and a downloadable certificate. Runners also get a free return ticket on the Palm Monorail, which matters because there is no parking at the venue: the organisers ask runners and spectators to park at Nakheel Mall and ride the monorail to the boardwalk. Spectators need their own monorail tickets, which can be added during registration. There are water and aid stations on every route.
The first Palm Run was held in 2023, and the organisers say the race sells out every year, with a capped number of places.
Registration is online through Premier Online, the race-entry site, and closes at 9.30am on Friday 13 November, or earlier if places run out; the entry fee is shown when you register. Details of race pack collection, where you pick up your bib and T-shirt, have not been announced and will be emailed to registered runners. Plan to arrive at Nakheel Mall early, since the monorail is the only way in, and pick the 3km if you are running with young children.
