Sunset at the Turf: Thursday evening racing in Abu Dhabi from 22 October, from Dh10
Abu Dhabi Turf Club starts early-evening race nights on selected Thursdays, with seven races between 5pm and 8pm and a garden overlooking the track.
Abu Dhabi Turf Club is adding an after-work race night to its season. Sunset at the Turf starts on Thursday 22 October and returns on selected Thursdays through the 2026 to 2027 season, with live racing from 5pm to 8pm as the sun goes down.
Each evening has seven races, five for Purebred Arabians and two for Thoroughbreds, run every 30 minutes. General admission starts at Dh10, and Premier Admission, from Dh80, adds access to the garden overlooking the track. A free game called Pick and Win gives prizes to those who predict the winners.
The club is at 949 Mubarak Bin Mohammed Street in Al Mushrif, Abu Dhabi. Tickets are on Ticketmaster; the club has not yet published the full list of Thursday dates, so check before you plan a later visit. The season's big days follow: the UAE President Cup on 12 December and the Abu Dhabi Gold Cup on 7 February.
