Dubai Opera has added Swan Lake on Ice to its tenth anniversary season. The Imperial Ice Stars will stage Tchaikovsky's ballet on an ice rink built on the stage from Thursday 14 to Sunday 17 January 2027.
The company brings 24 skaters whose members have won more than 250 Olympic, world, European and national championship medals between them. The show mixes classical ballet, figure skating and circus work, with aerial lifts, falling snow, fog and pyrotechnics around the story of Odette, Prince Siegfried and Rothbart.
The performance runs about 2 hours 10 minutes, including an interval. Tickets are on sale on Platinumlist and on Dubai Opera's website, where seats start from USD 85.01 (about Dh312). Start times depend on the date you choose.
Children aged 4 and over need their own ticket, under 4s are not admitted to the auditorium, and anyone under 18 must come with an adult. Latecomers wait until the interval, so arrive at least 30 minutes early; the nearest Metro stop is Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall on the Red Line, about a 10 minute walk away.
