The View at The Palm, Palm Jumeirah

The View at The Palm, the observation deck at the top of The Palm Tower on Palm Jumeirah, has opened The Ledge, eight glass platforms that extend 1.5 metres beyond the viewing deck, Khaleej Times and What's On report. Four face the fronds and crescent of Palm Jumeirah and the Gulf, and four look back towards the Dubai skyline. Visitors can stand on them and look straight down through the glass floor.

The deck sits about 240 metres up and opened in 2021; The Ledge marks its fifth year. It is run by Dubai Holding Entertainment, which also runs Dubai Parks and Resorts, Ain Dubai and Global Village.

The Ledge is open now and is included in general admission, so there is no extra ticket to buy. Tickets start from Dh115 for adults and Dh80 for children on theviewpalm.ae, and the deck is open daily from 9am to 7pm. The View is reached through Nakheel Mall. Sunset is the busiest time of day, so book ahead if you want that light for photos.
