ROKA opens a rooftop restaurant at Six Senses The Palm on 20 November
The Japanese robata grill's second Dubai restaurant, after Business Bay, opens on Palm Jumeirah's West Crescent, from 5pm to 11pm daily, with dishes made only for this branch.
ROKA, the London-born Japanese restaurant built around the robata grill, opens its second Dubai branch on Friday 20 November, on the rooftop of Six Senses The Palm on the West Crescent of Palm Jumeirah. Its first Dubai restaurant is in Business Bay.
The menu keeps ROKA's robatayaki cooking with seafood to the fore, and some dishes are made for this branch alone, among them a lobster maki roll with Oscietra caviar, king crab leg tempura and a grilled whole lobster finished with red yuzu kosho butter. There is a list of signature cocktails and Japanese-inspired drinks.
The rooftop will be open daily from 5pm to 11pm. Prices and the booking line have not been announced yet: bookings go through ROKA's website, rokarestaurant.com, once the branch is listed there. Six Senses The Palm is on the West Crescent, past Atlantis on the right-hand side of the crescent road.
