Titizé - A Venetian Dream comes to Dubai Opera from Thursday 29 to Saturday 31 October. It is an acrobatic theatre show by Compagnia Finzi Pasca, directed by Daniele Finzi Pasca and first made for the stage of the Teatro Goldoni in Venice.
Ten performers tell the story of a dreamlike Venice of masks, canals and mirrors, with flying acrobats, a cyr wheel, clowning and live music. The ticket page says more than 100,000 people have seen it around the world. It runs about 1 hour 20 minutes with no interval.
Tickets are on Platinumlist from Dh275. Children under four are not admitted, under-18s must come with an adult, and shorts and flip-flops are not allowed. The building opens two hours before each show and latecomers may not be let in, so arrive at least 30 minutes early. The nearest Metro stop is Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall on the Red Line.
