The UAE National Orchestra comes to Dubai Opera on Sunday 25 October for Romantic Masters, a concert presented with Dubai Opera as part of its "Symphony On" programme. Umberto Clerici conducts, and Hungarian violinist Júlia Pusker is the soloist.
The programme opens with Rossini's overture to The Barber of Seville, followed by Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto, and closes with Brahms's Symphony No. 2. The concert starts at 4pm and runs about 1 hour 40 minutes, with a break.
Tickets are sold by Dubai Opera and Platinumlist. Children under six are not admitted to the main auditorium, guests from six up need a ticket, and under-18s must come with an adult. Dubai Opera asks guests not to wear shorts or flip-flops. An afternoon start makes it an easy one to pair with lunch in Downtown; Dubai Opera's car park and the Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall Metro station are both nearby.
