Village Nights brings free weekend evenings to Zayed Sports City
A new free winter festival with food stalls, live music and Ayala performances runs on Friday to Sunday evenings in Abu Dhabi until 18 October.
Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi has launched Village Nights, a free weekend festival near its tennis courts and the Zone D pitches. It runs from 9 to 11 October and 16 to 18 October, from 5pm to 10pm on Fridays and 4pm to 10pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
The programme mixes live music, bingo nights, games for all ages and traditional Emirati Ayala performances. Food and drink come from vendors including DRVN, Costa Coffee, Healthy Station and Ka'aki w Nos, and the food outlets also open on weekday evenings from 5pm to 10pm.
Entry is free; food and drinks are paid for.
