Museum of the Future is hiring "Future Perfects", with walk-in auditions from 24 October
The museum wants full-time guides and storytellers for its 2027 reopening. No museum experience is needed, and applications close on 8 November.
Museum of the Future, Dubai
Dubai's Museum of the Future is recruiting a new kind of visitor guide, which it calls a Future Perfect, for full-time roles on its Visitor Experience team. The museum is preparing to reopen in 2027 with a new experience, and the role mixes welcoming visitors with telling the stories behind its ideas on science, technology, nature and society.
The museum says no museum background or customer service experience is required. It is looking for curiosity, communication skills and ease with people. Applicants fill in a short form and record a video audition of about four minutes, with no preparation needed; shortlisted candidates are then invited to a group assessment at the museum before a final selection.
Walk-in audition pods will be at Virgin Megastore in City Centre Mirdif on 24 and 25 October, Roxy Cinemas in Dubai Hills Mall on 31 October, and Dubai Design Week in d3 from 3 to 8 November.
To apply, go to futureperfects.museumofthefuture.ae or visit one of the pods before applications close on 8 November. Salary and start date have not been published, and the museum also takes nominations of people through its official social media accounts.
