World Art Dubai returns to the Trade Centre from 19 to 22 November

World Art Dubai, the fair where visitors can buy art straight from the artists and galleries, is back for its 12th edition from Thursday 19 to Sunday 22 November. It takes over Za'abeel Halls 2 and 3 at Dubai World Trade Centre, from 1pm to 9pm each day.
The organisers list more than 10,000 pieces of art from over 300 local and international exhibitors, a mix of solo artists and galleries. Work is priced from $100 to $20,000, which makes it one of the easier places in the city to buy a first original piece rather than a print.
Tickets are sold on Platinumlist; the fair's own site does not give a price yet. With four days and a 1pm start, weekday afternoons are the quieter time to browse. The halls are a short walk from World Trade Centre station on the Metro Red Line, and the fair says prices are set by each exhibitor, so ask at the stand about framing and delivery before you pay.
