Seddiqi brings independent watchmakers to Abu Dhabi for Mavericks of Time

Ahmed Seddiqi, the UAE watch retailer, is holding Mavericks of Time 2026 at Space42 Arena in Abu Dhabi on 29 and 30 October. The two-day event is built around independent watchmaking: smaller houses and makers known for doing things differently.

Greubel Forsey, H. Moser & Cie., Bovet and Universal Geneve lead the line-up, and the list of makers taking part also includes Ressence, De Bethune, Urwerk, Rexhep Rexhepi, Laurent Ferrier, Konstantin Chaykin, Daniel Roth, Gerald Genta, Ulysse Nardin, Girard-Perregaux, Atelier Wen and Studio Underdog, among others. Seddiqi says the programme includes reveals in its Seddiqi Vault, personal styling sessions and interactive games.

The doors open from noon to 10pm on Thursday 29 October and from 3pm to 10pm on Friday 30 October. Visitors are asked to register on the Seddiqi website; the page does not mention a ticket price or say whether places are limited, so register early if you want to go.
