UAE passport tops Arton Capital's Passport Index 2026 with a score of 182
Emirati passport holders can enter 138 destinations without a visa and 44 more with simplified entry, such as a visa on arrival, according to the index.
The UAE passport is ranked first in the 2026 edition of the Passport Index, the ranking compiled by the advisory firm Arton Capital. It has a mobility score of 182.
The score adds up two kinds of access: 138 destinations that Emirati citizens can enter without a visa, and 44 where entry is simplified, through a visa on arrival or an electronic travel authorisation. The UAE has held the top place in this index for several years.
For Emirati travellers, simplified entry still means a step before or at the border: an online authorisation, a fee or a form at the airport. Check the rules of your destination with its embassy or the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs before you book, since entry conditions can change. Residents who hold other passports are not covered by the ranking.
