Emirates brings back Mile-A-Minute: a Skywards Mile for every minute in Dubai

Emirates Skywards, the loyalty programme of Emirates and flydubai, has brought back its Mile-A-Minute offer, first run in 2021. Members earn one bonus Skywards Mile for every minute they spend in Dubai, up to 7,200 bonus Miles, which Emirates says equals five days in the city. It works in every cabin class and fare type.

To qualify, members must register for the offer by 5 November 2026 on emirates.com, the Emirates app or flydubai.com, book a return flight that starts outside the UAE between 21 October and 5 November, and travel to Dubai between 21 October and 13 December. The stay must last at least 24 hours and no more than 30 days. The bonus Miles are worked out from the scheduled arrival and departure times and added automatically after the trip.

The offer is only for Skywards members who live outside the UAE, so residents cannot use it for their own trips. If family or friends are flying in for the winter season, they can join Skywards for free and register before 5 November, then book. Emirates also points out that Miles can be earned in Dubai at Atlantis The Palm, on Arabian Adventures desert tours, at Dubai Mall and through the Skywards Everyday app.
