Jonas Blue, the British DJ and producer whose remix of Fast Car made him one of the biggest names in pop dance music, is back in Dubai this Saturday, 7 November, for an open-air night at Bohemia Beach Club on FIVE Palm Jumeirah. Doors open at 7pm and the night runs until 1am, with the city skyline across the water as the backdrop.

He is a familiar face at the beach club, which has booked him several times since it opened, and the venue describes this one as a return. According to the event listing, his tracks have passed 22 billion streams and 85 million singles sold, with hits such as Fast Car, Perfect Strangers, Rise, Mama and Polaroid. Expect those songs: his sets lean on the vocal anthems that made his name rather than underground club music.

He is not alone on the bill. Peace Control, the production act known for a remix of Peru and the track You Ain't Lyin', plays in support, and Eva Kim opens as the local DJ. The same night, FIVE Palm Jumeirah also lists Jonas Blue at The Penthouse, the hotel's rooftop club, from 10pm, so fans can follow him upstairs once the beach party winds down; that is a separate ticket.

The booking is part of Bohemia Presents, the beach club's run of headline DJs this autumn. Fact Magazine reports that the season continues until 21 November, with Alex Wann and SONA on 14 November and MK on 21 November, all starting at 7pm.

Tickets for the Bohemia night are on Platinumlist, starting at Dh100, with separate prices for women and men; the late show at The Penthouse also starts at Dh100 there. Entry is for guests aged 21 and over, so bring an Emirates ID or passport, as photo ID is normally checked at the door. FIVE Palm Jumeirah sits on the trunk of Palm Jumeirah: drive in along Palm Jumeirah Road from King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Street, or take a taxi or ride-hailing car, the easier choice on a busy Saturday night. The listing does not state a dress code.
