JONY, one of the most streamed names in contemporary Russian music, plays a solo concert at Coca-Cola Arena on Wednesday 4 November. The listing on Platinumlist, the arena's ticket seller, gives a 9pm start, and tickets begin at Dh295.

The singer is known for a mix of R&B, pop and personal storytelling, and the show is billed under the line of one of his best-known songs, Love Your Voice. The set list has not been published, but the listing names the songs that made him: Kamin, Kometa, Alleya, Titry, Nikak, Ty Besposhchadna and Love Your Voice. Several of them have run into hundreds of millions of plays online, which is why a Russian-language artist can fill an arena in Dubai on a weeknight.

His awards back that up. Since 2021 he has won the Golden Gramophone, the VK Clips Award and the RU.TV Award, and he has been named best artist of the country and singer of the year at the Novoe Radio and Jara Music awards, alongside prizes from Muz-TV and OK!. Dubai has a large Russian-speaking community and visitors from Russia, Central Asia and the Caucasus, the audience these shows are built for.

The arena's rules are worth knowing before you book. Children under 14 are not allowed on the general admission standing floor, and the Fanpit and regular standing areas are for 14 and over. Under 16s in the seats must be with an adult aged 18 or over, and everyone over 12 months needs a ticket. Tickets cannot be refunded, and e-tickets arrive two days before the show.

Coca-Cola Arena is at City Walk, off Al Wasl Road. Parking at the arena costs Dh25 if you arrive up to an hour before the doors open, Dh70 up to two hours after the doors open, and Dh100 after that, so arriving early saves money as well as queueing. Tickets are on Platinumlist; the times on the listing differ slightly, so check your e-ticket for the exact door and start time.
