Maz Jobrani brings his stand-up to Etihad Arena on 7 November
The Iranian-American comedian plays Abu Dhabi next Saturday as part of Abu Dhabi Comedy Season, with tickets on Live Nation.
Maz Jobrani is the next big name in Abu Dhabi Comedy Season. The Iranian-American comedian and actor plays Etihad Arena on Yas Island on Saturday 7 November, Live Nation Middle East has announced, a week after Mo Amer opened the arena's comedy dates.
Jobrani built his following on comedy about culture, family and everyday life, and above all on the gap between the place your parents came from and the place you grew up. Live Nation describes him as one of the most recognisable voices in global comedy, with sold-out stand-up tours, filmed specials and work in film and television behind him. Much of his material is about being Middle Eastern in America, which has made him a familiar name with audiences in the Gulf.
The show is part of Abu Dhabi Comedy Season, the run of stand-up nights that Live Nation stages at Etihad Arena through the winter. After Jobrani, the season's announced dates move into the new year: Whitney Cummings and Paul Smith both play the arena on Sunday 31 January 2027.
Tickets are on sale now on livenation.me, where the seating plan and remaining prices are shown. Etihad Arena is on Yas Bay, Yas Island, with parking next to the venue. Comedy shows at the arena usually carry an age limit and a no-phones policy, so check the conditions on the ticket page before you book, and allow time for the drive from Dubai on a Saturday evening.
