Näss (People), a dance piece by the French-Moroccan choreographer Fouad Boussouf, plays one night at The Arts Center at NYU Abu Dhabi on Friday 30 October.

Seven men dance it, setting the rhythms of 1970s Moroccan music against hip hop. Boussouf spent his early years in Morocco, moved to France at seven and started hip hop as a teenager; he founded Compagnie Massala and since 2022 has run Le Phare, the national choreographic centre in Le Havre.

The show is in the Red Theater on Saadiyat Island. Doors open at 7pm and it starts at 7.30pm: 57 minutes of dance, then a 30-minute talk with the audience. Tickets start at Dh52.50 on Platinumlist, and it is for ages 10 and up.
